Peer review reports
On June 17, 2009, the Government of Canada entered into an arrangement on the trade of organic products with the United States. This arrangement was the result of considerable review by both the United States and Canada. As part of the arrangement it was agreed that both countries will conduct peer reviews of each respective organic program. CFIA Canada Organic Office conducted a peer review of the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) in 2010. USDA NOP conducted peer reviews of the Canada Organic Regime in 2009 and 2011.
