Pine shoot beetle - Tomicus piniperda L.
Tomicus piniperda L. (pine shoot beetle) has been in North America for approximately 40 years, and no longer meets the definition of a quarantine pest, according to ISPM 5. Therefore, the CFIA has deregulated pine shoot beetle as of November 4, 2020. This decision has been communicated through RMD-19-02.
