General

Botanical Features

Agricultural Features

High yielding variety; tubers of attractive appearance; few tubers per plant; large tuber size. High proportion of marketable tubers. Good resistance to growth cracks and second growth; moderately resistant to blackspot bruise and hollow heart; moderately susceptible to shatter bruise. Total nitrogen recommendations are approximately 40% less than for Russet Burbank. Medium dormancy period. High specific gravity.

Reaction to Diseases

Highly resistant: Verticillium wilt, common scab, PVY, tuber net necrosis.
Moderately resistant: early blight, Erwinia soft rot.
Susceptible: late blight, leaf roll, PVS, corky ringspot, Fusarium dry rot.
