General

Botanical Features

Agricultural Features

Medium high yielding variety; good resistance to heat necrosis; moderate resistance to shatter bruises and blackspot; moderately susceptible to hollow hear; susceptible to greening. Very good chip color even after long term storage; can be chipped directly from 7 °C storage or after reconditioning. Fair storability, medium dormancy period. High specific gravity.

REMARK: not susceptible to the herbicide metribuzin when applied at recommended rates.

Reaction to Diseases

Highly resistant: leaf roll net necrosis.
Moderately resistant: rhizoctonia, verticillium wilt.
Moderately susceptible: common scab.
Susceptible: PVX, PVY, leaf roll, powdery scab, late blight, early blight, fusarium dry rot, golden nematode.

NOTE: mosaic symptoms appear late in the season.
